Summer semester - DONE!

Yayayayayayyy I just finished my last exams today! Been a while since last time I updated this silly little blog. Been kinda busy (well not really but yeah), got quite a lot of stuff to do. So to summarize this summer semester I've come up with a conclusion that I would NEVER take a full credit on summer EVER AGAIN. Dudeee 16 credits in 12 weeks is just to much to handle. It was really nice in the beginning - don't get me wrong - like, everyone was so chill and relax, teachers seem in good mood, and it was easy to get a practice room and all.. Then.. somewhere before the midterm - when suddenly I feel like I got TONS of work to do all of sudden - I was like, OKAY MAN THIS IS TOUGH!! But, guess what. Midterm wasn't that bad at all. Not after you meet final. I ALMOST DEAD, literally. I had 3 all-nighters in one week. I was a walking zombie. CRAZY. And I keep on doing idiot little careless mistake on WHEN my subjects need to be submitted.

#1 Tech tools - I thought it's due for August 12. Found out that it's due for August 5 ON THE NIGHT BEFORE. I was so lucky I kinda started on the project few days ago. So I didn't sleep and managed to finish the subject at 10.30am on the next day. My class was at 11am. The project result? B.

#2 Arranging for horns - Same thing different story. I thought the project band is still gonna be available until Friday August 7 so I turned in my score and parts on Thursday - WRONG. Thursday was the last day of the project band and there are no more slot available anymore. So I emailed my teacher, said I'm so sorry blablabla. Then she said it's fine I can sequence it. Then I was thinking, alright cool so I can relax abit until Monday - WRONG. My roommates and I (we're in the same class) found out that the project is actually due for THAT DAY, yes, on thursday August 6. We came to that realization at 2.30am.. so yeah that was even better than my tech tools project. So what I did was I just import & export every single gawddamn track to midi from finale to logic, and make some correction, and bounce. I didn't even mix it properly. Then we went to the PW office to drop off our projects at 9am. Result? B.

#3 Principal to Business Management - So I have to do business plan for this class. I was just being kinda plain stupid on this one. I thought I'd finished the last part in like few hours, but then I ended up staying up all night, cos I figured out I need to do some correction on the previous parts to boost up my grade and yadda yadda. Finished the whole thing at 4.30am, then headed to Yuju's place to print it and halfway there I realize the road is kinda scary. LOL. Then submitted it at 9am. Result? B+.

ARGH. I feel so bad, I know I could've done WAAAY BETTER THAN THAT : (

But heck, well it's all OVER now and I can finally breath the holiday air :D

Crossing my fingers for the exam results now..
